A book hoarder, lots of socks and a really big carrot. {Ten On Tuesday}

Hallo meine Lieben,

happy Tuesday! I hope your week is going fine. You can link up with my friend Alyssa here.

1. A beautiful story of an activist saving a baby swan who got stuck in a fence and dealing with a confused mama swan. I am happy people like this exist.

2. All I can say here is "Aww"!

3. My bunnies surely love carrots. And apples, but only certain kinds. They are picky eaters.

4. I went to another flea market on Sunday and it was a bookish success. More about that later. Let's just say I bought enough books for one week.

5. I bought overknee socks yesterday and I cannot describe how happy they make me. I love having warm feet - and legs. I also bought some socks with dogs and tigers on them. Could not say no. Warm feet are important.

6. I need this pillow.

7. I am happy to have Chicago Fire back. Any shows you are excited about? Have you checked out any new shows yet?

8. So true.

9. I think I really need a new bookshelf. It is getting ridiculous. I don't know where to store my books anymore. They are everywhere.

10. 22 things that belong in every bookworm's dream home. My favorites are #2, #4, #14, #17, #18, #21 and I would add a fireplace, an old armchair and a globe bar.

Have a fantastic rest of the week!

  5. The books around the bath looks like a disaster waiting to happen! My mother always reads in the bath and she's dropped so many books in the water...

    1. Haha yeah, that's true. I am surprised that I never dropped a book in the water, I always read in the bathtub. :)

  9. I am always in need of bookshelves! I have found creative ways to use stacks of books as side tables, that has helped.

Love your blog - will be coming back :-)

    1. Bunnies are such wonderful animals. I love having mine around. I thought there would be problems with the cats but they love each other!

  11. I watched that swan video... and then a bunch of other ones from the same channel. (I stopped when I got to the fox caught in the fence. Please, don't watch it. It made me cry!) That swan one was so cute!

I completely agree about warm feet. So important! And I can't wait to hear about your flea market bookish success.. obviously. ;)

I'm also happy Chicago Fire is back. I've been enjoying Madam Secretary and How To Get Away With Murder - both are intriguing. Also Forever.

That link full of bookish things is amazing! I would also like your selections!

    1. Oh god, I hope the fox is fine in the end?! I have watched too many horrible videos and they always make me cry. I probably watch too many cute ones though. :)

I bought so many books in just one week. I could not say no. I mean, it was 19 at the one flea market, 8 at another, probably 10 online....

Those are exactly the shows I put on my to-watch list! I have not checked them out yet but I am sure I will like them as well! I also watch Chicago PD.

Hope you are doing great! <3

  12. What certain kinds of apples did your bunnies like? Haha, I’m actually a bunny (Chinese Zodiac) and I like specific type of apples. I love kitty-based furnishings and apparel, they are just so cute.

    1. So cute that you are a bunny! <3 That surely fits you! My bunnies only like "Pink Lady" apples which is so stupid because it is hard to find organic ones. I mean, I have an apple tree in the garden and they rarely eat those! I love anything with kitties on it as well. <3
